Product Insights

What is it?

Product Insights gives you a quick snapshot of how you’ve purchased a product, which sizes and colors you favor, and what’s already on its way to you. It appears right on the Product Details page, so you can check your history without leaving the product you’re viewing.

Product Insights is a reference tool. It won’t limit what you can order, check quantities, or hold inventory.

How to open it

1. Go to a product’s Product Details page.
2. Click Product Insights, at the top right of the page next to the product navigation arrows.
3. The panel slides open on the right side of your screen.

Product Insights is available on desktop and tablet, but not on mobile. You can keep browsing, selecting colors, and building your order while the panel is open. Click the X to close it. If you leave the page, the panel remembers whether you last had it open or closed.

What you’ll see

Your purchase summary

At the top of the panel, you’ll see a quick recap of the last 12 months:

You placed [#] orders for [#] variations and [#] units in the last 12 months. You last ordered this product on [date].

Just below are your incoming totals:

• Incoming Variations: the number of colors or variations on the way
• Incoming Units: the total units on the way
• Ship Date(s): the earliest and latest ship dates, or a single date if they match

Previously Purchased

This section shows how you’ve bought this product over the last 12 months, as a percentage of the units you ordered:

• Size Mix: which sizes you buy most
• Color Mix: which colors you buy most

This includes your orders for the product from all catalogs, not just the one you’re browsing. If you’ve never ordered the product, you’ll see a message that your size and color mix will appear after your first order.

Your Top Colors

This is a ranking of up to five of your best-selling colors for this product. For each color, you’ll see:

• Your Units: how many units you’ve purchased
• Overall Rank: how that color ranks across all accounts

Your Units and Overall Rank measure different things. Overall Rank reflects all customers’ purchases, not just yours. If you haven’t bought this product before, you’ll see the top colors across all accounts, with a dash (–) for your units.

Incoming Orders

This shows what’s already on its way for the color or variation you’ve selected. It updates as you switch colors on the Product Details page.

Incoming orders are grouped by ship-to location, including drop-ship addresses. Each location shows its name, number, address, and total incoming units. Click a location to expand it and see the size, units, and ship date or date range for each line. If you have only one location, it opens automatically; with multiple locations, they start collapsed.

Only submitted orders with a ship date of today or later appear here.

Good to know

• No history yet? Empty sections are normal if you haven’t ordered the product in the last 12 months.
• Nothing incoming? Incoming totals show zero and Ship Date(s) shows a dash.
• Long names: Hover over a truncated size or color name to see the full label.
• Missing images: A placeholder appears when a color doesn’t have a photo.
