Back-in-Stock Notifications: Never Miss a Restock!

We've added a new way to stay on top of your favorite styles: back-in-stock notifications. If an item you want is temporarily unavailable, you can now sign up to be notified as soon as it's available again, instead of checking back manually or missing your size when it returns.

How it works

When at least one size for a product has no current availability and no known future restock date, you'll see a "Notify Me" option on that item instead of the usual add-to-cart controls. Selecting it lets you choose which sizes you'd like to be alerted on and set an end date for how long you'd like to keep receiving those alerts. Once saved, elastic tracks the item for you and lets you know when it's back.

This works the same way whether you're shopping through a Standard Order or a Quick Order Entry flow, so you can set up notifications no matter how you prefer to browse and order.

Setting up a notification

  1. Open up a catalog and and start shopping as you normally would, either through Standard Order or Quick Order Entry.
  2. Find a product that's out of stock. If it qualifies for back-in-stock alerts, you'll see a "Notify Me" tag on the product page (Standard Order) or next to the item in the grid (Quick Order Entry).
  3. Click "Notify Me" and choose the sizes you want to be notified about.
  4. Set the date you'd like the notifications to stop.
  5. Click "Save" to confirm. Items you've already set up alerts for will show a "Notifications On" label so you know at a glance what's being tracked.

Managing your existing notifications

You can review or update your alerts at any time by opening "Manage Notifications," either from the account menu (click the down arrow next to your name) or from within the ordering workflow. From there you can see the status of each notification (for example, whether an alert has already been sent), edit the sizes you're tracking, or delete a notification you no longer need by expanding the item with the down arrow next to it.
